• Calligraphy class begins on June 3. 3 PM
• NASA Employee and Wet U resident, Dan Olivas will be talking about his job
at NASA. June 15@ 9 AM
• Father's Day concert open to all public. June 19 @2 PM
• Trip to Round Top and Antique Rose Emporiium. June 21
• Paul Berlin Luncheon is filling. Will have 130 folks for this event. June 28.
West U Rotary has sponsored Mr. Berlin's fee.
APAC Report: No representative able to attend this month's meeting.
Council Meeting Report: Steven Segal
Committee Reports:
Good Neighbor Team: Stan McCandless
Hi Neigbor Newsletter: Continuing to program for September-December.
Newsletter should be ready for the post office at the end of the month. Will also have
a page in the Parks and Recreation guide to help with advertising.
Activity Report: Betty Aillet
Previous Business:
Kay Holloway will be sending each board member a letter that you will need to
return to her if you are still interested in holding a position on the board. She
anticpated new members (if any are needed) will not even begin until late
September.
New Business:
Purchase order for a projector to hold Movie Day as been completed
Purchase order for 4 laptop computers and separate keyboards and mouse has been
completed as well. Hopefully will initiate a fall class for a total of 8 folks to attend.
