AU ORDINANCE REMITTING PENALTIES AND
11.'TEREST ON ADV"ALORl!.:M TAXES FOR THE
r~AR 1941, IF PAID NOT LATER THAN JAN~
UARY 31, 1942; AND REPEALING ALL ORDI~
NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
V'lHEREAS, the Uity Commission of the City of West Univer-
sity l-'lace, fl1exas, has found that considerable ad valorem
taxes, for the year 1941, have not been paid and that it would
be to the best interest of the Uity and would encourgge the
payment of such outstanding taxes, if no penalty or interest
is added providing said taxes are paid not later then January
31, 1941, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAI1~D BY THE CITY C~N~lISSION OF
THE CITY OF VilEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, AS FOLLOWS:
1.
That to encourage the payment of ad valorem taxes due
the City for the year 1941, all penalties and interest on
such 1941 ad valorem taxes are hereby remitted, providing such
ad valorem taxes due said Uity for the year 1941 are paid to
the tax collector thereof not later than the 31st day of Jan-
uary, 1942.

All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with, in so far as they conflict, are hereby repealed.
PASSED AIID APPROVED this the 26th day of January, A.D.1942.
