The City Council convened in Regular Session in the Municipal Building Council Chambers on December 11, 2000, with the following members present: Mayor Pro Tern Ballanfant presiding, Council Members Bertini, Grubb and May. The City Manager, Assistant City Secretary, City Attorney, Public Works Director, Police Chief and Parks and Recreation Director were also present. Mayor Lewis was absent. The notice for this meeting was posted in accordance with the Texas Government Code, Chapter 551, on the 8th day of December 2000 at 1:00 p.m. Citizen Comments. Mayor Lewis invited citizens who wished to address the City Council to come forward as their names were called. Gerald Kerbow, 2630 University Boulevard, spoke about fmancing plans for installation of sidewalks. He opposed any changes that would not require residents to pay for their own sidewalks. DivinJ?; board at Colonial Park. Matters related to the repair or replacement of the diving board at Colonial Park. A motion was made by Council Member Bertini, seconded by Council Member Grubb, to accept the report as prepared by the Parks and Recreation Director. A vote was taken on the motion with the following result: Voting Aye: Voting Nay: Absent: Council Members BaIlanfant, Bertini, Grubb and May None Mayor Lewis City Council minutes. Matters related to the minutes of the Regular Session conducted on December 4,2000. Council Member Bertini commented that he witnessed an accident in West University Place and commended the Police and Fire Department for their quick response time. Adjournment. With no further business to come before the City Council at this time, a motion was made by Council Member May, seconded by Council Member Bertini, to adjourn.
