Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice is hereby given of a regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment on Thursday, May 28,2026,
beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building located at 3800 University Blvd., West University Place,Texas.
Note: The Board reserves the right to convene in a closed session for any agenda item if the need arises pursuant to
authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.
The subject(s)of the meeting on which the Board will discuss and take action are:
1. Call to order,notices,rules,etc. Matters relating to notices, rules and meeting procedures, identifying
parties, swearing of witnesses, etc.
2. Docket No.2026-00008,regarding the property located at 2612 University Boulevard,West University
Place,TX 77005(Special Exception).
a. Public hearing regarding an application for a special exception provided in the City's Zoning
Ordinance,Appendix A—Zoning Ordinance;Article 7A—Residential District-Specific Regulations;Table
7A-7,Note 12 to authorize a carport located 36 inches from the side property line.
b. Deliberate and decide or take other action,regarding the requested special exception.
3. Docket No.2026-00009,regarding the property located at 3752 Wroxton Road,West University Place,
TX 77005(Variance).
a. Public hearing regarding an application for a variance from the required 20-foot rear yard setback
prescribed in the City's Zoning Ordinance, Appendix A—Zoning Ordinance;Article 7A—Residential
District-Specific Regulations;Table 7A-2.
b. Deliberate and decide or take other action,regarding the requested variance.
4. Docket No.2026-00010,regarding the property located at 3303 Bissonnet Street,West University Place,
TX 77005(Special Exception).
a. Public hearing regarding an application for a special exception provided in the City's Zoning
Ordinance, Appendix A—Zoning Ordinance; Article 7A—Residential District-Specific Regulations;
Table 7A-1,Note 3 to authorize an additional structure at St. Andrew's Presbyterian School.
b. Deliberate and decide or take other action,regarding the requested special exception.
5. Meeting Minutes.
a. Public comments, if any, on the meeting minutes from February 26, 2026.
Anyone with a disability requiring special arrangements to be able to participate in the meeting may contact
the person who signs this notice, below, in advance of the meeting, to allow time for arrangements to be made
as necessary. The meeting place mentioned above is accessible by wheelchairs by using the sloped ramp located
at the west entrance to the municipal building. Specially marked parking spaces are available in the parking lot
adjoining University Boulevard.
