RESOLUTION NO. R2008-09
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY
PLACE, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE CREATION OF AN EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
TRUST, DESIGNATING ALL MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO BE TRUSTEES,
AND AUTHORIZING THE TRUST TO PURCHASE VARIOUS FORMS OF
INSURANCE FOR THE BENEFIT OF CITY OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, QUALIFIED
RETIREES AND THEIR DEPENDENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City Council hereby authorizes the creation of an Employee
Benefits Trust, designating all members of the City Council to be Trustees, and
authorizing the Trust to purchase various forms of insurance for the benefit of city
officers, employees, qualified retirees and their dependents.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED THIS 14th day of July, 2008.
