'\'fHED.AS, heretefore a notice to bidders was duly published by the
City of West University Place respecting the preposed drilling, develop..
ing and producing of a water well for said ciV, and bids were received
by said e1ty in accordance with the provisions of said notice, and
WHEREAs, the 10lJest and best bid was tendered by the Layne Texas
ComPaIlY, Ltd. and it is d.esired by the City Commission of the CiV of
West University Place, Texas to accept such bid,
NOW 'll'IEBBF01lE :BE IT RESOLVED by the CiV Commissien of West Uni-
versity Place., Texas, that the bid of Layne Texas Companr, Ltd.. in the
amo\l11t. of $1,60$.00 be accepted by the City 81\Ci that the Mayor be and
is authorized to execute a contract with said Lqne Texas COIIlpally, Ltd..
for the drilling of said water well.
