AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE 1IIA -ME OF POE STREET TO
AMHERST STREET VTMIIN THE CITY OF ANEST UNIVER-
SITY PLACE, 'KAS; PROVIDING THAT ALL ORDINANCES,
AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES, IN CONFLICT HEREWITH ARE
REPEALED; PROVIDING THAT TEIS ORDINANCE SHALL
TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FORCE IYEEDIATELY FROM AND
AFTER ITS PASSAGE AND APPROVAL.

IMEREAS, Poe Street, within the corporated limits of
the City of West 'University Place, Texas, is , in fact, a
continuation of Amherst Street; and in order to relieve doubt
and confusion it has been determined that the name of Poe
Street shall be changed to Amherst Street; now, therefore:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BO RD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
V EST UNIVERSITY PL_A` CE , TEXAS-: -
SECTION 1
That the name of Poe Street shall be, an is hereby
changed to Amherst Street.
SECTION 2
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinances are hereby repealed, insofar as the same
conflicts.
SECTION 3
This ordinance shall take affect and be in force
immediately from and after the date of its passage and approval.
