AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF STEPEENSON
STREET., `�MHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF TBE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, TO RICE —
BOULEVARD: AND PROVIDING THIS ORDINANCE TAKE
EFFECT AND BE INFORCE(MEDIATELY FRCY1 AND
AFTER ITS PASSAGE AND APPROVAL.
WHEREAS, heretofore there has been constructed
a bridge over and across the drainage ditch at the 'gest terminus
of Rice Boulevard connecting said Rice Boulevard with the East
terminus of Ste phe.nsbn:.-Street thereby making a through street or
highway. The Board of Commissioners of the City of Sest Univer-
sity Place, in order to facilitate the residence on the said str-eet
or highway, have deemed it necessary and advisable to change the_'-:
.name of said Stephenson Street to Rice Boulevard:
N0`fis THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
COMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
That the name of Stephenson Street, within the
corporate limits of the City of West University Place, from its
heginning point at the West terminus of the bridge, over and
across the drainage ditch,:connecting said Stephenson Street
with Rice Boulevard, to the West terminus of said Stephenson
Street be and the same is hereby changed to Rice Boulevard. e

That this ordinance take effect and be in force
mediately from and after its passage and approval
