L: ". ,~ ~ ;, ORDINANCE NO. 165 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 111 OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, Sf ADDING SECTION l2-A CONCERNING SQUARE FOOT DIMENSIONS OF DWELLINgS .IN SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTEICT NO ~ 7-A:. BY ADDING SECTION l2-B, CONCERNING SQUARE FOOT DIMENSIONS IN SING-LE FAMILY DWELLING DIS- TRICT NO. 7-B; BY ADDING SECTION 2l-A WITH REFERENCE TO TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION ,OF DWELL- INGS IN SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO.7-A; BY ADDING SECTION 21-B \lilITH REFER- ENCE TO TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION OF DWELLINGS IN SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 7-B; AND PROVIDING THA~ THIS ORDINANCE SHALL TAKE EF- FECT AND BE IN FORCE IlVIMEDIA TELY FROM AND AFrER ITS PASSAGE AND APPROVAL. I --' WHEREAS, by resolution of the Board of Com- missioners of the City of West University Place, Texas, adopted at a regular meeting of said Board on March 3rd,A.D. 1939, it was determined, upon the recommendation of the Plan Commission of the said Oity, to. hold a public hearing with reference to ~mending Ordinance No. 111, commonly knO\VU as the Zoning Ordinance; and WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was duly published as required by law and said Ordinance No. 111, and the date of the hearing specified therein as March 27, 1939, at 7:00 o'clock p. M. at the Oity Hall within the City of West University Place, Texas ; and 1 I , . WHEREAS, said hearing was dUly and seasonably held on the date specified and the subject matter: of this amendment dis cussed at length; . THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS: Sec .!iJ:2E....1. That there be added to Ordinance No. 111, Section 12-A, reading as follows: "SQUARE'FOOT DIMENSIONS OF DWELLINGS IN SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO.7-A. The dimensions of the main building in single- Family Dwelling District No. 7-A hereafter erected, shall not be less than 1300 square feet.1I - 1 ! I I 1 U 61 RAr-r.inn 8. [~ That there be added to Ordinance No. 111, Section 12-B, reading as follpws: "SQUARE FOOT DIMENSIONS OF DWELLINGS IN SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO.7-B. The dimensions of the main buildings in the Single-Family Dwelling District No. 7-B, he~eafter erected, on corner lots, as defin- ed in said Ordinance No. 111, shall not be less than 1100 square feet, and on inside lots shall not be less than 1,000 square feet. 11 Section 3. r ~. I '--- That there be added to Ordinance No. 111, Section 2l-A, ~eading as follows: "TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION OF DWELLINGS IN SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO.7-A. (1) The' main building in the Single-Family Dwelling District NO.7-A, hereafter erected shall be constructed of brick, brick veneer or stucco, within the definition of that, t~rm hereinabove given or of wood or other ma terials. (2) Accessory buildings may be constructed of brick, brick veneer, stucco, wood or other ma teri ala. tt Sec tion 4. That there be added to Ordinance No. Ill, Section 2l-B, reading as follows: "TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION OF DWELLINGS IN SINGLE-FM~ILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO.7-B. [ ., (1) The main buildings in the Single-Family Dwelling District No. 7-B, hereafter erected, shall be constructed of brick, brick veneer or stucco, wi thin the definition of that t,erm hereinabove given, or of'wood or other materials.
