That there be and there is hereby levied against a~l taxable property within the corporate limits of the City of West University Place, Texas, as the same existedon Janua!7 1, 1939, an ad valorem tax of and at the rate of $1.50 on each ~100.00 valuation of property against the property in said City for the p~pose of raising revenue for all municipal purposes for the year 1939 as provided by the laws of this State. Said tax is hereby segregated and levied more in de- tail as follows: i I I (l) For the purpose of paying interest and providing a sink- ing fund for the $808,877.78 refunding bonds dated on or about April 10, 1936, on each $100.00 valuation of ta~able property. 67.7 (2) For the purpose of ~aying interest and providing a sinking fund for the payment of ~86,000.00 refunding warrants dated on. or about April 10, 1936, on each $100.00 valuation of taxable property. r 0 I? 0 <.J (3)\ For the purpose-of ~aying interest and providing a sinking fund for the payment of $25,000.00 sewer repair warrants dated on or about July 7, 1939 on each $100.00 valuation of taxable property. 08.4 04.2 (4) For tthe purpose of providing funds for current expenses of the City, on each $100.00 valuation of taxable property. 69.7 Aggregating $1.50 on each $100.00 valuation on all tax- able property of said City. L There being no rule or the Board or Commissioners re- garding ordinances to be read or passed at more than one meeting, it is further ordered and ordained that this ordinance take effect and be in force immediately from and after its passage and approval.
