BE IT ORDAI~ED BY THE BOARD OF COt~ISSIONERS OF
THE CITY OF liVEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
FIRST
The Mayor of the City of West University Place,
Texas, on behalf of the City, is authorized by this ordinance
to enter into a contract with the houston Lighting & Pow~r Com-
pany providing for the installation irmnediately upon the exe-
cution of such contract of an agreed number of 100 candle
power lanp s mounted in company standard bracket fixtur es, and
also an agreed number of 250 candle power lamps mounted on
company standard ornamental fixtures; such con trac t to voer
all such installations previ0usly made by the cODpany within
the city, and also to provide for future such installations
within the City, stipulate all charges and costs in connection
with such installation and for such electrical power, and con-
tain such other regulations and provison that the Mayor May
deem best and advisable.

immediately from and after the date of its passage and approv-
al.
