AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A DISCOUNT OF
CITY TAXES IF PAID WITHIN THETIME DES-
IGNATED: AND, rroVIDING THAT THIS "ORDI-
NANCE SHALL TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FORCE
IMMEDIATELy FROM AND AFTER THE DATE OF
ITS PASSAGE AND APPROVAL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C ClVIMISSIONERS OF THE CFY, OF
WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
Section 1.

Any and all persons making actual payment of taxes due
the City of West University Place for the year 193B shall be
entitled to the following discount:
(1) One percent (1%) if paid on or be-
fore Septemper30, 1938.
(2) Three-quarters of one percent (3/4 of
1%) if paid on or before October 31, 1938.
(3) One-half of one per cent (1/2 of 1%)
if paid on or before November 10~ 1938.
However, if said taxes are not actually p~id to the Tax
Cullector of the City of west University ~lace on or before
November 10, 1938, no discount shall be allowed, but the
full amount of tax~s shall be due and p?-yable.
Section 2.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately from and after the date of its passage and
approval.
