ORDINANCE NUMBER 963
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS, TO PROVIDE FOR A MAXIMUM
HEIGHT OF SIGNS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
Section l. That the Code of Ordinances of the City of West Univer-
sity Place, Texas, is hereby amended by addition thereto of a section to be
known as Section 3-36, which said section shall read as follows:
llSection 3-36. Height of Signs.
It shall be unlawful to erect any ground sign which total
height is greater than twenty (20) feet above the level of
the street upon which the sign faces; and it shall be unlaw-
ful to erect any sign which total height is greater than
ten (10) feet above the roof level.ll
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately from and after its passage and approval as required by law.
