WEST UNIVERSITY PL\CE:
SECTION 1.
The office of Assistant City Treasurer, Assistant City Secretary,
Assistant City Tax Collector and Assistant City Tax Assessor, or any
two of said offices, may be held by one and the same person in the
discretion of the Mayor and Board of Con~ssioners.
SEC TI01~ 2.
Vfuen any ~JO or more of the above mentioned offices (Assistant
City Treasurer, Assistant City Secretary, Assistant City Tax Collector
ffild Assistant City Tax Assessor)are held by one and the s&~e person,
then such person shall receive compensation for the holding of only one
of said offices.
SECTION 3.
If any two or more of the herein mentioned offices (Assistant
City Treasurer, AssistaXl.t City Secrete.ry, .1lssistant City Tax Collector

and Assistant City Tax Assessor) are held by one and the same person,
then such person shall l,e required to furnish to the Hayor only. one

bond, same to be in the stun of $10,000.00, the surety thereon to be
sOllie surety company having a permit to do business in the State of
Texas, and a local agent in Harris County, and which has complied with
all of the requirements of the laws of the state of Texas, which said
surety shall be satisfactory to the Mayor.
SECTION 4.
All ordinances, or parts thereof, in conflict herewith, are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 5.
This ordinance shall take effect inunediately ITfter its passage
and approval.
