AN ORDINANCE ill O"V;,IDING FOR REPORT BY VETERINARIAN
OF ANIMALS WITHIN THE CITY OF WEST UNIVERSI TY
PLACE TREATED BY THEM HAVING GLANDERS OR FARCY,
RABIES, TUBERCULOSIS, OR OTHER CUMltlUNICABLE
DI SEASE; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF
THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING TffAT ALL ORDINANCES
IN COr-lFLICT :HEREWITH ARE REPEALED; "AND, PROVID-
ING reHAT SAME SHALL TAKE EFFECT AND BE IN FOR CE
FROM AN'D AFTER DATE OF ITS PASSAGE, APPROVAL AND
PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE, TEXAS:
Section l.
Every veterinarian or ther person who is called upon
to examine or professionally attend 'any animal within the City
of West University Place, having gganders or farcy, rabies,
tuberculosis, or other communicable disease shall within 24
hours thereafter, report in writing to the City Marshall of
the City of West University PLace, at the City Hall of said
City, the following facts:
(a) A statement of the location of said diseased
amimal.
(b) The name and address of the owner thereof.
(c) The type and character of the disease.
Section 2.
Any person violating' the provisions of this Ordinance
shall be deemed guilty of an offense and upon conviction be
fined not less than $1.00 nor more than $100.00, and each day's
continuance shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense.

Ordinance is hereby repealed.
Section 4.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force im-
mediately from and after the date of its passage, approval
and publication.
