AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING LICENSE FOR -THOSE
OPERATING STEAM BOILERS AND ENGINES AND
FIXING TliE LICENSE FEE AT $1.00, AND PRO-
VIDING AN EXAMINING BOARD AND THE RIGHT TO
APPEAL FROM THE EXAMINING BOARD TO CITY
COU1~CIL;PROVIDING FURTHER THIS ORDINANCE
SHALL. BE EFFECTIVE AND IN FULL FOR CE UPON
PASSAGE AND APPROVAL.
BE'IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF WEST UNIVER SITY PLACE:
SECTION I.

It is necessary tha.t all who run and operates .
steam boilers and steam engines within the limits of
the City-of West University Place take out a license
showing they are qualified. to operate steam and steam
operating plants.
SECTION II.

License will be issued only to those who can
show the Examining Board, appointed by the City Coun-
cil, tha~ they are qualified. A License fee of $1.00
for each calendar year, dating from January Is~ of
each year or fractional part of a year shall accompany
application and application for renewal at the termina-
. tion of each calendar year shall be accompanied by
examining fee of $1.00.

SECTION III.

The right of appeal from decision of the Exam-
ining Board to the City Council is recongnized and
hearing will be granted by the City Council at next re-
gular Council meeting after the date .01' receipt of appeal.
SECTION IV.

force immediately upon passage and approval.
