AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING ALL VEHICLES
TO COI,1E TO A FULL AND COIvJPLETE STOP
BEFORE ENTERING' THE n~TERSECTION OF
CERTAIN STREETS, AVEl\ffiES AIm BOULE-
VARDS LOCATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE
LIlviITS OF THE CITY OF WEST UNIVER-
SITY PLACE, TEX.-\S; PROVIDING A PEN...
ALTY FOR VIOLATION OF THIS ORDINAN-
CE; PROVI DING THAT THIS ORDn~ANCE '
TAKE EFFECT IlVllViEDIATELY AFTER PASS-
AGE AND PROPER ADv~RTISING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF WEST UNIVERSITY PLACE:
SECTION 1.
All vehicles of every kind and character shall come to a
full and complete stop bef~re entering the intersection of the herein-
after named streets, avenues and boulevards located within the cor-
porate limits of the City of West Uni versi ty Place, Texas, to-n.t:
'A- All streets, avenues and boulevards intersecting 1fd.th
Bellaire Boulevard.
B-' The follovving streets, avenues and bop.levards inter-
secting wi th University Boulevard on ei ther si de there-
of:
Wakeforest, Belmont and Buffalo Speedway.
C- The follmving streets, avenues and boulevards inter-
secting'with Rice Boulevard on either side thereof:
Belmont,.Wakeforest and Fordham Street.
SECTION 2.
Said vehioles shall come to said stop a.t an imaginary
line that conneots the point of tangency of the curb return and the
straight line curb seotion of the traveled roadway, being approx-
imately the property line of the intersecting street with the road-
way traveled.

SECTION 3.
Any person or persons violating any provision of this
ordinance shall be punishable upon conviction by a fine of not less
than one ($1.00) dollar or not more ~han one ($100.00) dollars and
each failure to so stop shall constitute a separate offense.
