AN ORDINANCE MAKING IT UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON OR "CORPORATION,
EITHER OR BOTH, TO WAKE OR CAUSE' TO BE MADE AlifY GAS CONNECTIONS
OR CONNECT ,:ANY GAS .METER TO ANY BUILDING WI THIl{ THE CORPORATE LUn:'l'S

WITH At"'Y GAS MAIN AND OR 'PERMITOR'CAUSE~ TO BE PERMI~TEDANY GAS
TO FLOW TBBOUGH SAID CONNECTIOBS WITHOUT, FIRST HAVING TEE WRITTEN
AUTHORITY OF THE/DULY AUTHORIZED PLUMBING INSPECTOR OF'SAID CITY;
PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATICN THEREOF AND FURTHER PROVIDING THAT
SAm ORDINANCE SHALL TAKE EFFECT IMMEDIATELY~

SECTION 1.
That -from ~d af-ter "thiS; date it shall be un1awfu1f'or any
person or corporation, either or both, -tOe make or cause' to be made any
gas connections or connec"t any gas me"ter to any building of no mat"ter what
, kind or character within the corporate limits of'the City of' West
Unn.ve.si'ty Place, Texas and or connect said building with any gas main,
and or permit or caused to be permitted any gas to flow through said
connections so made unless written authority is first given therefor
by "the duly authorized Plumbing Inspector of said City of West University
Place; said a.u"thority showing that said building or premises has been
lnspecyed and tested.
SECTION 2.
Tha~ any person or corporation, ei "ther or both, violating
any of "the "terms or provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed quil"ty
of a misdemeanor, and upon convie"tion therefor shall be fined 13;1 any
