That there is hereby created a Board of Equalization for the City of West University Place, to be composed of t1J.ree members. Section 2. That the mayor of said City shall appoint the members of' said board, subject to confirmation by the council. r-- , I I I LJ , Section 3. The mayor shall appoint the members of said board not later than February 1st in each year, and the members of said board so appointed shall serve f~ the purpose bf equalization of taxes for the year in which they are appointed. Section 4. The board of equalization shall carefully c6nsider all ass~ssments of property, both real and personal, ~or the said Ci ty of West University Place, and shall make all such~'G-ha,n,ges ". in assessments as to them may seeIn right and ne.,cessary in order to render the assessments ~ithin the said city equal and fair to all tax payers of thB said city, and the said board shall perform all such other duties as are now imposed upon boards of equalization boy the laws of the State of Texas, and shall J be governed, in their work, by the general laws of said State. 1 r" -- ~ - ~ c' - Cll II 14 , " .
