Notice of Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting
Notice is hereby given of a regular meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment on Thursday, July 28, 2022
beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building located at 3800 University Blvd., West University Place,Texas.
Note: The Commission reserves the right to convene in a closed session for any agenda item if the need arises
pursuant to authorization by Title 5, Chapter 551, of the Texas Government Code.
The subject(s)of the meeting on which the Board will discuss and take action are:
Call to order
1. Notices,Rules,Etc. Matters relating to notices, rules and meeting procedures, identifying parties, swearing of
witnesses,etc.
2. Docket No.2022-0006,regarding property at 6218 Auden St.,Houston,TX 77005(Special Exception).
a. Public hearing regarding a special exception to Appendix A, Article 7, Section 7-101, Table 7-5a,
Note 7 to allow a parking area to be constructed in another location and with a different design than
prescribed by the Zoning Ordinance.
b. Deliberations, decisions, other activities etc. regarding the proceeding matters.
3. Docket No.2022-0007,regarding property at 5706 Kirby Dr.,Houston,TX 77005(Special Exception).
a. Public hearing regarding a special exception to Appendix A, Article 7, Section 7-101, Table 7-1, Uses
to allow for the construction of a 1,700 SF banking center with two (2) drive-throughs serving as
access to the proposed bank's interactive teller(ITM)machines.
b. Deliberation,decisions, other activities etc. regarding the proceeding matters.
4. Docket No. 2022-0008 and No. 2022-0009, regarding property at 3323 and 3315 Bissonnet St.,Houston,
TX 77005(Special Exception and Variance).
a. Public hearing regarding a special exception and variance to Appendix A, Article 7, Section 7-101,
Table 7-2 and Table 7-3 to request a 20' front setback off Westchester Ave., a 15' street side yard
setback off Bissonnet St.and a minimum 31%front yard pervious area.
5. Meeting Minutes. Matters relating to the approval of minutes from May 26, 2022.
Anyone with a disability requiring special arrangements to be able to participate in the meeting may contact
the person who signs this notice, below, in advance of the meeting, to allow time for arrangements to be made
as necessary. The meeting place mentioned above is accessible by wheel chairs by using the sloped ramp
located at the west entrance to the municipal building. Specially marked parking spaces are available in the
parking lot adjoining University Boulevard.
