Actas de la reunión especial del Concejo Municipal
The City Council of the City of West University Place, Texas, met in a special meeting on Wednesday, May
17, 2023, for the purpose of considering the agenda of items listed.
El Concejo Municipal de la Ciudad de West University Place, Texas, se reunió en sesión especial el
miércoles 17 de mayo de 2023, con el propósito de considerar la agenda de los puntos enumerados.
Agenda was as follows:
1. Call Special Meeting to Order/Roll Call
Mayor Sample called the special meeting to order at 11:15 a.m. Mayor Pro Tem Montgomery was also
in attendance. Councilmembers Barnes, Bell, and Carroll did not attend. (Only two members are
required to Canvass the election).
City Manager Beach, City Secretary Gilliam, and Assistant to the City Manager Bishop were also
present.
2. Resolution Canvassing the Results of the May 6, 2023, General Election
Matters related to a resolution canvassing the results of the May 6, 2023 Election on first and final
reading. Recommended Action: Approve Resolution. Ms. Thelma Gilliam, City Secretary

Asuntos relacionados con una resolución que sondea los resultados de las elecciones del 6 de mayo
de 2023 en la primera y última lectura. Acción recomendada: Aprobar la resolución en la primera y última

Mayor Sample moved to approve the resolution canvassing the results of the May 6, 2023, General
Election on first and final reading. Mayor Pro Tem Montgomery seconded the motion. MOTION
PASSED.
Miembro del Consejo Sobash se trasladó a aprobar la resolución que recoge los resultados del 4 de
mayo de 2019 elecciones generales y especiales en la primera y última lectura. Miembro del Consejo
Lankford secundó la moción. MOVIMIENTO PASADO.

With no other business before the Council, Councilmember Sobash moved to adjourn the meeting at
approximately 4:06 p.m. Councilmember Lankford seconded the motion. MOTION PASSED.
