HomeMy WebLinkAbout07132000 ZPC Notice•~ !• City of ~est Uni~ersity P1ace ~ ~- "~ ~ RecycledPaper Notice of Zoning & Planning Commission Meeting Notice is hereby given that the Zoning & Planning Commission of the City of West University Place, Texas (Z&PC) will meet in Regular Session on: Thursday, July 13, 2000 Beginning at 6:45 Pnn IN THE Bill Watson Conference Room, Municipal Building 3800 University Boulevard West University Place, Texas 77005 The subjects of the meeting are as follows: 1. Call to Order. Report as to notice of ineeting. 2. Citizens who wish to be heard. Citizens who wish to address items that are not on the agenda will be pernutted to speak to the Z&PC after introducing themselves and giving their address. State law will not permit the Z&PC to fully discuss, debate or consider items that are not on the agenda. Items that cannot be referred to the City Staff for action may be placed on the agenda of a future Z&PC meeting. ~ 3. Citizens who wish to address a~enda items. Citizens who wish to address specific agenda items will be permitted to speak to the Z&PC after introducing themselves and giving their address. 4. Approval of Minutes. Matters relating to the approval of minutes from the May 1l, 2000 and June 8, 2000 meetings. 5. Matters related to the Omnibus I Plan. The plan includes possible amendments to the zoning ordinance (and other ordinances, rules and regulations) relating to sidewalks, curbs, gutters, "sunsets" (loss of prior non- confornung or "PNC" status), other PNC issues (including loss to casualty, use of building sites for non- residential and non-single-family purposes, screens for lighting and waste storage, etc.; see Article 12 of the Zoning Ordinance), sound and light effects, air conditioning and mechanical equipment, height of structures, filling and drainage, tree protection, subdivision regulations (drainage, minor amendments, etc.), garage garage setback regulations, "front street line" and other definitions, platting, new zoning district map, fences, fire resistant materials and firewalls, porches and other items allowed to project into yards, framed area, occupancy pernuts, and other related issues. Matters related to zoning, subdivision and other amendments recently adopted that focused primarily on perimeter properties, including regulations on drainage, SFD privacy protection, density (yards, units, framed area), landscaping, tree areas, parking and access, garages, sidewalks, visibility triangles, ordinance reformatting, and related matters. Matters related to zoning, subdivision and other • amendments recently adopted that fo~used primarily on perimeter properties, Non-Contiguous tracts ( single lots developed by individual owners), including regulations on drainage, SFD privacy protection, density (yards, units, framed area), landscaping, tree areas, parking and access, garages, sidewalks, visibility triangles, ordinance reformatting, and related matters.
