HomeMy WebLinkAbout05181953 ZPC Minutes~~ MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING ZONING & PLANNING B©ARD MAY 18, 1953 The Zoning & Planning Board convened in special session at the City Hall on Manday, May 18, 1953, 7:00 P.M. with the following: members present: Mr. Roy Maley, presiding; Messrs Davis, Halbert, Hannah and Taylor. Mrs. John L. Bederman, Real Estate Dealer, appeared before the Board with Mass Zemma Womack who desired to purchase the East 100 x_.100' of Lot 5, Block 78, West University Place 2nd Addition if it could be subdivided to provide for two additional residential sites to be 50 x 100 Ft. each. Motion by Mr. Halbert, seconded by Mr. Taylor that the Board recommend to the City Council that the East 100 x 100 Ft. of Lot 5, Block 78, West University Place 2nd Addition be subdivided into two 50 x l00 Ft. lots to provide for two additional residential sites. Voting Aye: All Voting No None Re resentatives of the YMCA again appeared before the Board in compliance with action taken on May 1 th in regard to their request for rezoning the tract of land adjacent to the railroad track in the X200 Block of Bellaire Boule- vard to permit erection of a building to be used For recreational purposes. The Board advised the representatives that they were not in a position to take any action at this time as it was their desire to obtain a legal opinion With no further business to come before the Board at this time, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned. from the City Attorney, but that they would take action at the earliest possible date, CHAIRMAN ,. ~S`~ SECRETARY u
