MINIPI'ES OF REGULAR MEETING
ZONING & PLANNING BOAR
SEPTEMBER 11, 1052
The Zoning & Planning Board. convened in regular session at the City Hall on
Thursday, September 11, 1952, 7:30 P.M. with the following members present:
Mr. A. G. Moss, presiding; Messrs. Riggs and Goff. Messrs. Maley and Morris
were absent.
Mr. C. L. Richman, requested permission to construct a room 12 x 18 Ft. ad-
jacent to an existing attached garage at his home 2715 Tangley, to be used
for storage purposes and a den.
Motion by Mr. Riggs, seconded by Mr. Goff that Mr. Richman's request for per-
mission to construct a 12 x 18 Ft. room adjacent to an existing attached
garage at 2715 Tangley Street be recommended for approval subject to his
executing the usual affidavit.
Voting Aye: All
Voting No None
Mr. B. J. Levy, requested permission to construct a commercial building on
Lot 3, Block 21, Collegeview 1st Addition with a 20 Ft. setback from Wes-
layan Street instead of a 30 Ft. setbaeli as now required by the Zoning Ordi-
nance.
Motion by Mr. Goff, seconded by Mr. Riggs, that the Board recommend that
Mr. B. J. Levy be permitted to construct a commercial building on Lot 3,
Block 21, Gollegeview 1st Addition with a 20 Ft. setback from Weslayan Street
instead of 30 Ft. as now required by the Zoning Ordinance.
Voting Aye: All
Voting No None
Mr. G. K. Cude 66 0 Wakeforest requested permission to improve an existing
1 x 20 Ft. garage converting the upstairs room to servant quarters. Mr.
Cude explained that the building was erected in 1938 and the upstairs room had
never been used as living or sleeping quarters.
Motion by Mr. Riggs, seconded by Mr. Goff that Mr. G. K. Cude, 6630 Wakeforest
be permitted to improve the existing two story garage converting the upstairs
room into servant quarters by adding a bathroom, subject to execution of usual
affidavit that the building will not be used for rental or commercial purposes.

duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
