MINUTES ~' REGULAR MEETING
Z(~1TNG & PLANNING BOARD
June 21, 1951
The Zoning and Planning Board convened in Regular Session at the City,
Hall, Thursday,. June 21, 1951, with. the following members present:
Mr. Roy Maley, presiding; Messrs. Goff and Riggs. Messrs: ~dorris and
Moss were absent.
Mr. 0ohn S. Kiibler, representing Mrs. Winnie Kiibler, owner of the
property at 61125 Brompton, requested approval from the Zoning Board to
construct a home on the West ~ of Lot 3, Block 19, ~V'est University Place
°~-~ 1st Addition, with a brick wainscoating across the front of the house and
around the south side, with cedar shakes on part of the front and side
~~,^ and 105 drop siding on the remainder. A sketch submitted. to the Board
revealed there were other houses in the immediate vicinity which were not
51~ brick construction. Mrs. Kiibler. advised by letter that she had been
given permission by the Board and by the City Council to construct a
residence with asbestos siding on the entire exterior in October, I9I~9.
Motion by Mr. Goff, seceded by Mr. Riggs that the request of Mrs. Minnie
D. Kiibler for permission to construct a home on the VPest -~ of Lot 3,
Block 19, West University Place 1st Addition, with a brick wainscoating
across the front of the house and around the south side, with cedar shakes
on part of the front and side and 105 drop siding on the remainder be
recommended for approval.
Voting Aye: All
Voting No None
Action on a request by Mrs. Wear, 3759 Georgetown, for permission to erect
an addition to her existing garage was withheld pending a further
investigation.
With no further business to come before the Board at this time, upon
motion duly made,_seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
