3'he Zoning and Planning Board convened in regular Sessicm on flay 17,
1951, 7:30 P,M. with the following members presents Mr. Roy Maley,
presiding; Messrs. Goff, Moss, and Biggs. Mr. Morris was absent.
Mr. Lloyd Y. Pyeatt, 3l~19 Nottingham, appeared before the Board..
requesting. permission to construct a 1!t x l8 Ft. extension to hia
existing garage to be uaed as a dark roos- in connection with his hobby
of photography.
Motion by Mr. Riggs, seconded by Mr. Moss that`the request of Mr. Pyeatt
for permission to cartstruct an extension to his existing garage"and work
shop shoes on plat submitted to be used as a dark room in connectcti-with
his hobby be reco~amended for approval subject to execution-of usualaffi-
davit--to the effect that the structure will not be used for commercial
purposes.
Voting Ayes All
Voting Nos None
ltr. Moss asked to be excused from the meeting at this tine as he had a
previous engagement.
Mr« Howe~.l Jones, 5512-Buffalo Speedway, appeared before the Boardpro-
testing the use of the lot at-the corner of Buffalo Speedway and
Nottingham by his aeighbor,l~r. J. B. Tigner, 5516 Buffalo Speedway,
for growing flo+rersand vegetables for .commercial .purposes..
Motion by Mr. Riggs, seconded. by A(r. Goff that the Boardrecosnmend to the
City Council that an investigation be made of thin property and if it is
determined that a violation exists that necessary action be taken to have
the violation ceased.
Voting Ayes All
Voting No None
With no further business to ccsse before the Zoning Board at this time,
the meeting was adjourned.
