MINUTE OF REGULAR MEETING LOIdING 8c PLAiv~NTNG BOARD DECE.A~IBII~. 21, 1950 The Zoning and Planning Board convened i.n regular session at the City hall cn Thursday, December 21, 1950, 7:30 P.W.. with the following members present: Iti~r. Roy E. Daley, presiding; l~~~essrs. Robert '~~. Goff and Ted H, Riggs, h~essrs. Moss and Talorris were absent. , I~':ayor H~ E;. Terry administered the Oath of Office to Mr. 'Te'd H. Riggs, recently appointed as a member of the Zoning and Planning Board to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Ior. Chas. S. Taylor, Jr. i~rs. John D. Lamar advised the Board that she had been granted a permit to construct a garage building 20' x 22' on the rear of her property ' located at 6320 Rutgers and asked approval of adding a storage room, with- ~~ out plumbing facilities, to the back side of the proposed building, said ~; room to be 10' x 20' making the overall ..structure 20' x 32'. Lamar for permission to add a storage room. in connection with the proposed garage be recommended for approval subject to the execution of an affida- vit that said construction will not be used for commercial purposes. Kamp of 3606 Tangley appeared before the Board and requested permission to ui d a combination storage and play room 12' x 2!~' on the rear of the west side of his property, Lots 6A and 6B on which his home is noiv located as indicated on the sketch submitted. The proposed structure will not have any plumbing facilities and vrould be used as a convenience to his immediate family. itction by Iulr. Riggs, seconded by sir. Goff that the request of Ivir. Kamp be granted subject to the filing of an affidavit that the structure will not be used for commercial purposes. Voting Aye: All Voting No None A letter was presented to the Board by tv"r. Clarence B. Jefferies of 3015 Duke regarding the violation of the Zoning Ordinance by the presence of a garage apartment located on the property owned by 1~'Irs . P~abel .~4,lkire of 6102 Belmont. The minutes of the Zoning Board meeting held on November 17, 1950, reflect that action on this case was taken at that meeting and that the above mentioned letter be presented to the City Council for investigation and whatever action deemed advisable. u'~ith no further business the meeting .vas adjourned.
