AdINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
ZONING & PLANNING BOARD
AUGUiT 30, 1949
A special meeting of the .Zoning Board was held Aubust 30, 1949 with the
following members present: Dgr. 0. C. King, presiding; Mr. Rohr Maley,
Mr. Duncan Allen, Mr. Franklin Jones, and Agra H. J. Chavanne.
The meeting was held for the purpose of considering a request from Mr.
Robert 'rU. Goff, 393U Southwestern for permission to enclose an open front
porch on his home and l~' across the front.
Mr. Goff. secured a letter from Mr. Louis E, Robbins at 3936 Southwestern,
bung the next lot West of Mr. Goff's ho~ie, stating that he had no objection
to this alteration to Mr. Goff'.s home. Mr. Goff also presented a letter
from Mr. ~d. R. England, owner of the home immediately east of Mr. Golfs,
stating that he had no objection to Mr. Goff's alteration. provided the
Zoning Board grant an exception to .the .set back line for him to build a
new home at same address.
All members of the Zoning Board excepting Pair. Franklin Jones inspected this
property and made a very thorough investi~;ation of t~ir. Gol~~'s request and
thefollowing action was-taken:
Motion by Pr~r. Duncan Allen that Agr. Goff's request for permission to enclose
this front porch be granted. The motion died for want of a second.,
Air. ~'~, ll. Harlow, 42U1 Buskin Street, requested that the Zoning Board permit
him to enlarge a storage room on the back of his garage increasing the size
of the present storage roam Pram !.t' x ld' to 12' x l~'. Mr. Harlow is on a
corner lot and his. garage is entered from a side street. Therefore, enlarge-
ment of this storage room would extend crosswise and deeper into his bacK
yard but would not violate any set back from lot lines.
Motion by Mr. Duncan. Allen, seconded by-Mr. Harry Chavanne that Mr. Harlow~s
request be granted.

Voting No None
~lith no further business to come .before the Board at this time, upon motion
duly made, seconded, and carried the meeting was ad,journeci.
