The ening and Planning Board of the City of ?"lest University Pl?ca met in
special sessicn on :ridgy October 1~, 1>1;8, with the following members
present: ~.~r. Charles ~. ~,'ehr, Actin; Chairman; hrs. Earl Eberlin6, and
A?r. 0. C. King.
?,fir. Hobert E. King, owner of property known as 3608 Plumb Street in the City
of ~y`est University Place, w7~o rad ?urchas~ad said property under the im-
pression that he c~;ald build his ho~~e wi th tr,e o~.zter wall being constructed
of asbestos siding requested the waiving off' Sly brick restrictions permi.ttin~;
the ~~s^ of asbestos s;.ding on the exterior wall. It was brought to the
attention cf the 3oard that this particular lot was one of t~r~o remaining va-
cant lots withn th.e 3bC~Ci block of Plum ar.d otr,er residences wits; n the
clock were constructed with cuter walls of asbestos siding, :rick and as-
bestos siding, a,-,bestos sidir.~ and wood and brick.
