REGULAR MEETING. OF ZONING & PLANNING BOARD_
JANUARY 9, 1964
The regular meeting of the Zoning. & Planning Board was not held, due to
lack of a quorum.
REGULAR MEETING OF ZONING & PLANNING BOARD
FEBRUARY 13, 196+
The Zoning and Planning Board convened in regular session at the City
Hall on Thursday, February 13, 196-, 7:30 p,m., with the following members
present; Chairman Gill, presiding; Messrs. Lott and Hilton. Messrs.
Snyder and Haralson were absent.
Mrs. Nan Womack, 6128 Fordham, (Lot 12, Blk. 8, V2rgini~c-Court~:,~equested
permission to construct a -foot extension to the side of her existing
garage in order that she"might have space from the garage made into a 12 X
21 foot recreation room. Mrs. Womack stated that she did not plan to have
any plumbing installed in the room.
Motion by Mr. Lott, seconded by Mr. Hilton, that the Board recommend that
Mrs. Womack be permitted to add a ~+-foot extension onto the side of her
existing garage and to convert a part of the garage into a 12 X 21 foot
recreation room, subject to the execution of an affidavit that the struc-
ture will never be used as living quarters or for any commercial use.
Voting Aye: All
Voting No: None
Mr. C. W. Bevill, 6512 Rutgers, asked permission to subdivide Ipt ~+,
Block 32, West University Place 1st Addition, into two. lots 50 X 150'
each to front on Rutgers, in order to make another building site. A
survey plat presented indicated that there would be no encroachments on
the new .building site,
Motion by 1~Lr. Hilton, seconded by Mr. Lott, that the Board recommend to
the Commission. that Mr. C. W. Bevill be permitted to subdivide Lot ~,
Block. 32, West University Place 1st Addition, into two lots 50 X 150 feet
each to fronton Rutgers Street, subject to the proposed building site
being free of encroachments.
Voting Aye: All
Voting No: None
Mr. R. W. Hall, Jr., 5920 Auden at Coleridge, (Lot 5, Block 5, Sunset
Terrace, Section 3) discussed the possibility of erecting storage faci-
lities along the back property line at the rear of his existing garage.
Mr. Hall stated that a gas line had been constructed on his property
3 feet from his garage and approximately 9 feet from the property line.

.The Board advised Mr. Hall that they would need more definite information
as to the location of the easement before they would consider any recom-
mendation.
With no further business to come before the Board at this time, upon motion
duly made, seconded and. carried, the meeting was adjourned.
