The Zoning and Plahninb Board convened in regular session at the City
Hail on Thursday, May 10, 1962, 7:30 P.M., with the following members
present; Chairman Hannah, presiding; Messrs. Gill, Fitzgerald, Lott
and Vest. Mr. Snyder was absent.
Mr. J. B. Baird, owner of Lot 6, Block 57, West Unversit~r Place
Second Addition, requested ~aermission to subdivide the lot as de-
scribed into two lots, 50 x 150 ft. each,. in order to provide an
additional building site on the east ~ of the lot. It was explained
that there is now an existing house on the west of the lot.
Motion by Mr. Vest, seconded by Mr. C*ll, that the Board recommend to
the City Commission that Mr. J. B. Baud's request for subdividing Lot
6, Block 57, West IInversity Place Second Addition, into two lots of
50 x 150 ft. each, be approved.

Mr. Tom. H. Wheat, Irk'. Sam Jett and Mr. C. D. Whatley appeared befores the
Board with referenee to property located in the area of Stella Link and
Wesleyan. A portion of this property is zoned for commercial purposes
and it was their proposal to erect a buildit,~,to contain ap~sroximately
10,000 sg. ft. and to pave the vacant land for off-street parking. The
Board was .requested to consider rezoning this propg~rty After discussing
the matter, it was deferred for further considers ion.
