The Zoning and Planning Board convened in regular session at the City
Hall Thursday, Januaryrl9,F X961, 7:30 P.M.~ with the following members
present: Chairman David-Hannah,. presiding; Messrs. :Gill, Lott and Vest....
Mr. Fitzgerald was absent... _
The-oath of-Office-was administered to members ;of the Zoning Board by,
Mayor Lamkin.
Mx'. R. H. SmpsonL~~+01 Tan~ley appeared before >the Board to discuss
the possibility of building a green house :on his premises to be used.

Simpson that he-prepare a plan of his proposed project and present it at

The request of Mrs. J. 0. Eubanks, 3302 Amherst, for permission to con -
struct a carpor on a ron o r ex s ng garage to-extend 20 ee
toward Rutgers Street was again eonsidered.~.Iu~rs.>Eubanks': request had ,.
been presented to the Board on December 8, 1960,. at which time an inspec-
tion of the, premises was made and it was determined that the proposed carport
would extend approximately 5 feet beyond the property line into the Rutgers
Street right-of-way. The Board consulted with the Building Inspector and
after considering the request. agreed that they,COUld not recommend appeal.
