Board ~nvened in regular session at the City Hall on 7;30 P.M., with the following members present.Charman Messrs. David Hannah, Ray Fitzgerald, O. P. Gi11 and Mr. W. H. Farrington, representin~Mrs. W. E. Arnold, 6~+0~+ Buffalo ~peedway, asked the Board's approval for erection of a. 10 x 20 ft. one-story utility room onto the side of the existing garage .building at Mrs. Arnold's residence oca ed on the South half of Lot 6, Block 30, West University Place First Addition. Mr. Farrington explained that the room would not have any plumbing or wiring, and construction would consist of a concrete floor, composition roof and cedar shakes to match existing structure. It was Mrs. Arnold's intention to use the room for storage of children's bicycles, etc. Motion_by Mr. Wyngarden, seconded by Mr. Hannah, that the Board recommend ap - proval of the request of Mrs. W. E. Arnold to erect a 10 x 20 foot one-story utility room onto the side of the existing garage building, subject to observance of back yard area limitations and property setback requirements, and subject to execution of an affidavit that the structure would not be used as a living unit but only for the purpose ns stated. Voting Aye: All. Voting No; None. Mr. Van Hetherl~Y, ~+039_Villanova, asked the Board's approval to install electric wiring in and x 12 ft. structure, presently located in his back yard, for lights and air conditioning and to add sheetroek to the walls and ceiling to make the structure suitable for use as a study. The electrical wiring would be installed underground. Motion by ,~. Hannah, seconded by Mr. Gill, that the Board recommend approval for permission to install electrical wiring in the $ x 12 ft. structure, and to add sheetroek to the walls and ceiling provided the dimensions of the structure are not increased and no plumbing or water facilities added, further provided that owner execute affidavit that the structure will not be used as living quarters or for business purposes. Voting Aye; All. Voting No: None. A letter from Ntr. Junius 0. Seashore, 3031 Amherst, requested the Board to re- commend approval far interior changes in the existing combination double garage, wash room and servant quarters. He stated in the letter he desired to extend the walls of the present servant quarters which measures $ x 12 ft. to measure 12 x 1~+ ft., this extension to extend into the present two car garage, leaving space far one car only; and that he proposed to use the room as a den and hobby room. 1 1 1 'the Board desired additional information ` a,nd 'sketch:es and~ax° drawing of the proposed alterations and agreed to request Mr. Seashore to appear before the Board in order that further consideration might be given his request.
