REGULAR MEETING OF ZONING AND PLANNING BOARD
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 1960
The Zoning and Planning Board of the City of West University Place convened in
regular session at the Gity Ha11, 7;30 P.M., Thursday, February 11, 1960, with
the following members present; Chairman Horace Rice, presiding; Messrs, Gill,
Hannah: and Wyn~arden. Mr. 0. C. King was absent, due to business reasons..
Mr. H. W. Strickland,2~319 University Blvd., again appeared before the Board re -
garding his request to_.subdivide Lot ~., Block 20, West University Place First
Addition, into two lots 75 x l00 feetto front on Brompton and 100 x 145 feet to
front on University Blvd. Mr. Strickland explained that there is an existing
residence on the corner portion of the lot and he desired. the 75 x 100 ft. portion
as an additional building site.
Motion by Mr. Gill, seconded by Mr. Wyngarden, that the Board recommend approval
of Mr. Strickland's request subject to existing setback requirements.
Voting Aye; All.
Voting No; None.
Mr. M. Hanovice, 3619 South Braeswood Blvd., owner of Lot 12, Block 38, West Uni-
versa y ace irs 1 ion, appeare e ore the Board requesting permission to
subdivide Lot 12, Block 3B, into two lots, each 50 x 11+7.5, each fronting on
Sewanee Street.
Motion by Mx'. Wyngarden, seconded by Nir. Gill, that the Board recommend approval
of Mr. M. Hanovice's request to subdivide Lot 12, Block 38,_Wes~t University Place
First Addition, into two- lots, each 50 x 11+7.5, subject to existing setback require-
ments. '
Voting Aye; A11.
Voting No: None.
Mr. W. H. Krenzler, 251+0 South Blvd., and his son-in-law, Mr, G Seglers,2636
Albans, appeared before the Board in regard to property in Block 1, Krenzler
Courts; Lots 3z1+,5,6~7=I1,12Z1~z11+ & 15 owned by Mr. Krenzler and Lots 1~& 17
owned by Mx'. Seglers.
Mr. Krenzler discussed the possibility of rezoning these Tats for commercial pur-
poses; however, after discussing the subject at some length with the Board, it
was mutually agreed that the Board-would take no action at this time, but would
continue to study and. give consideration to Mr. Kxenzler's proposal.
Nfr. E. J. Christiansen, 2723 Wroxton, appeared before the Board regarding Lots 1,
2,3, ,5,._.,7,__,9 and West 1 ft. of Lat 10, Block 2, Monticello Addition, ex -

rezoned for commercial purposes. After discussing the matter, it was agreed that

With no further business to came before the Board at this ',ms, upon motion duly
made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
