MINUTES OF SPECZA.L MEh~I'ING OF ZONING AND PZANNII~G BOARD
November 2~+, 1956
The Zoning and Planning Board convened in Special Session on Saturday, November
24, 1956, with the following members present: Mar. M. C. Halbert, presiding;
Messrs. A. G. Davis, R. A. Madeiey, David Hannah, and Charlie Wilson.
A letter was submitted from Mrs. George O'Leary, 3263 Del Monte Drive, requesting
permission to install complete bath room facilities~in an existing servant
quarters on the property she ow%ts at 3121 Amherst. After consideration was given
to the request, and a personal inspection made. of the premises by members of the
Board, the following action was taken:
Motion by Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Hannah, that the Board recommend to the City
Commission that Mrs. O'Leary's request to install complete bathroom facilities in
the existing servant quarters on property she owns at 3121 Amherst be denied.

No: None
~fith na further business to came before. the Board at this time, upon motion duly
made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
Note:
Building permit Na. 787 far construction of a two-story residence and an 18x27 Ft.
garage at 3121 Amherst was issued June l0, 1956. No mention is made of a servant
quarters on this or on any subsequent permit. Building Inspector Kingman reports
that a part of the garage is partitioned off for use as a utility and storage
roam. There is no indication that the room has ever been used for other than
utility and storage purposes.
