HomeMy WebLinkAbout08161956 ZPC Minutes ~1 1 1 M~~s of REGULAR METING ©F zaNING ~ PLAS~TNYNG BfaARD At~GUST l6, 1956 The Zoning & Planning Board convened in regular session at the City Hall on Thursday August 16, 1956, 7:30 P.M. with the fallowing mmembers prese~tt: Mr. M. C. Halbert, presiding; Messrs. Davis, Hannah, Madeley and Wilson. Mr. George P. Murrin, Attorney representing :Mrs. Mae Ullrich 401 B~rowni 9 appeared in connection with a building permit granted May 2 , 195 to repair damage to a garage and upstairs apartment caused by a recent fire. After work was started by the contractor, it was noted by the Building Inspector that the building was being enlarged by addition of a carport and an additional room over the carport; therefore, the Contractor was ordered to discontinue further work, as the building permit was not being complied with. Mr. Murrin requested the Board to recommend approval far permission to co lete re irs and finish the carport o_ ly, with the extension a the apartment over the carport to be removed. Motion by Mr. Wilson, Seconded by Mr. Madeley, that work on the garage apartment be limited to the building permit as issued. Dr. Mcn was advised that the request was under consideration pending a dis- cussion with the City Commission and City Attorney.
