SPECIAL MEETING OF ZONING & PLANNING BOARD
JUNE 23, 1956
The Zoning & Planning Board convened in special session at the City Hall, 9 A.M.
on Saturday, June 23, 1956, with the following members present; Mr. M. C.
Halbert, presiding; Messrs. Hannah, Wilson and Davis
The meeting was .called for the purpose of investigating an application of Mrs.
Ullrich, x+019 Browning, who had appeared at the regular meetitag of the Board
on June 1 , 195 , and requested a permit for additional improvements to the
garage apartment on her premises. Mrs. Ullrich had received a permit to
repair damages to the garage apartment recently caused by afire. Building
Inspector B. F. Kingman, upon making an inspection of the repair work, deter-
mined that the Contractor was not complying with the permit and therefore
had the Contractor discontinue further work until an additional permit was
approved by the Zoning Board and the City Commission. The Zoning Board and
Building Inspector B. F. Kingman made a personal inspection of the premises
and after reviewing the application and building permit, took the following
action:
Motion by Mr. Hannah, seconded by Mr. Wilson that the Board recommend to the
City Commission that a building permit for additional square foot area to the
garage apartment at x+019 Browning be denied as such construction would con-
stitute improving and enlarging an existing building in violation of the
zoning ordinance.

With no further business to come before the Zoning Board at this time, upon
motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
