MIANRES OF REGULAR MEETING OF ZONING & PLANNING BOARZ}
MAY 12, 1955.
The Zoning & Planning Board convened in regular session at the City
Hall on Thursday, May 12, 1955, 7s3O P:M. with the following members
present: Mr. Ed Davis, presiding; Messrs. A. G. Davis, David Hanneh,
and Roy Maley. Messrs. Halbert and Wilson were absent.
Mr. John F. Matisa 320 Sunset Blvd., appeared before the Board.
requesting permission to erect. an aluminum car port or canopy for
business purposes at the north side of the building located at 51162
Kirby Drives which is a commercially zoned area. Mr. Matis explained
he was in an auto repair business specializing 3n exhaust systems
only, and had selected the name Nest University Muffler Service*.
After reviewing .the plans for the proposed car-port or canopy, it
was the decision of the Board that specifications for erection of
such structure was not included in the Zoning Ordinance; therefore,
this request was not considered a matter for Zoning Board action.
With no further business to come before the Board at this time,
upon motion duly made seconded. and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
