MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
ZONING & PLANNING BOARD
SEPTEMBER 24, 1g5~+
The Zoning and Planning Board convened in special session on Friday, September
2~+, 195+, with the following members present: Mr. Ed Davis, presiding;
Messrs. A. G. Davis, David Hannah, and H. C. Halbert.
The meeting was called for the purpose of considering the application of Mr.
L. D. Spaw, 3817 Sunset Boulevard for the enclosing of a garage for servant
quarters and the building of a carport.
Motion was made by Mr. David Hannah and seconded by Mr. A. G. Davis that the
Board recommend approval of Mr. L. D. Spaw's application to convert the rear
section of existing 18 x 20 Ft, garage building on the property at 3817 Sunset
Boulevard into servant quarters, subject to the following provisions:
(1} occupant of quarters shall be employed 100 on the premises, (2) no cocking
facilities shall be provided in the servant quarters, (.3) that the applicant,
Mr. L. D. Spaw, shall execute our regular affidavit form to the effect that
the servant quarters will never be used for rental purposes, and (~) that the
affidavit shall be made a covenant to the deed on this property; further,
that the carport as proposed be permitted subject to regular setback require-
ments and back yard area usage restrictions.
Voting Aye: All
Voting No : None
It is the understanding of the Zoning Board that the servant quarters as proposed
by Mr. Spaw will be occupied by a practical nurse taking care of the Spaw
family children during the disability of the mother.
With no further business to come before the Board at this time, upon motion
duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
