MINLPi'ES OF REGULAR MEETING
ZONING & PLANNING BOARD
AUGUST 12, 195+
The Zoning and Planning Board convened in regular session at the City Hall
on Thursday, August 12, 195+, 7:30 P.M. with the following members present:
Mr. Ed Da~.ris, presiding; Messrs. A. G. Davis, Chas. Taylor, David Hannah.
Mr. H. C. Halbert was absent.
A letter from Mr. E. P. Evans, 3221 Carnegie, requesting the Board to recom-
mend approval of the construction. of a carport extending into the required
setback from the side property line on Rutgers Street was considered. The
Board was advised that the carport had been constructed without a building
permit and it was determined that the location was i.n violation of the set-
back requirements of Ordinance No. 111.
It was the Boards recommendation that the matter be referred to the City
Commission for action as the Board members could find no reason to recommend
that the violation be condoned.
With no further business to come before the Commission at this time, upon
motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
