ZONING & PLANl`IING BOARD

The Zoning & Planning Board convened in special session on December ~+, 1g54,
with the following members .present: Mr. Ed Davis, presiding; Mgssrs. A. G.
Davis, Hannah and Halbert.
The Board considered application from Dr. Monroe Elliott, 3423 Sunset Blvd.
who requested permission to erect a 14x 0 F green Ouse on is 100x 0 Ft.
lot at the corner of Sunset an Sewanee for the purpose of raising orchids
and other tropical plants as a hobby.
The Board unanimously agreed to recommend to the City Commission .that Dr.
Elliott, 3423 Sunset Blyd. be permitted to erect a 17~~30 Ft. Greenhouse for
the p~?rpose of raising tropical plants as a hobby; subject to the execution
of an affidavit by Dr. Elliott to the, effect that the structure will not be
used for commercial purposes and also to the effect that if a transfer is
ode of the property by Dr. Elliott, his heirs, or assigns, a covenant to
the deed will be made at the time of transfer that the greenhouse will never
be used for commercial purposes.
With no further business to come before the Board at this time, upon motion
duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
