The Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of West University Place met
in regular session at the City Hall, Thursday, August 21, 199, 7_:30 p.m.,
with the following members present: Chairman David Hannah, presiding; L. B.
Bricker, and E. Gene Hines. H. E. Lott and R. C. Hilton were absent.
A letter from R. P. Ganchen, Senior Warden, St. Marks Episcopal Church, 3816
Bellaire Boulevard, Houston, Texas, was presented to the Commission for con-
sideration. The letter stated that St. Marks's Episcopal Church is purchasing
Lot 31, Cambridge Place Addition
City of West University Place, Texas

this property may be used immediately for parking purposes for the church, It also
stated that at a later date a building .might be erected, but no immediate plans
are being made to do so,

poses, unless later rezoned.

Mark's Episcopal Church and advise them of the above decision.

quested a report from the Commission to the City Commission concerning interpre-
tations of certain aspects of the Zoning Ordinance. After discussion, Mr. Hannah
was instructed to advise the City Commission the earliest date a report could be
submitted would be shortly after the next regular meeting of the Zoning and Planning
