REGULAR MEETING
ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION
MAY 8, 1969
The Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of West University Place
convened in regular session at the City Hall on Thursday, May 8, 1969, 7:30
p.m., with the following members present: Vice-Chairman R. C. Hilton, pre-
siding; Members E. Gene Hines, H. E. Lott and L. B. Bricker. Chairman
David Hannah was absent.
A plat of University Place Townhouses, Section Three, was presented from J. D.
Cobb with a request .for approval of the Zoning and Planning Commission.
University Place Townhouse,. Section .Three, is a replat of Lots 10, 11, 12, 13,
14, 15 and part of 9, Block 2, Monticello. Addition to the A. C. Reynolds Sur-
vey, A-61, approved as a Townhouse District by Ordinance number 879 passed by
the City Commission on October 10,.1966.
Motion by Mr. Lott, seconded by Mr. Bricker, that the plat of University Place
Townhouses, Section .Three, be approved.

Voting No: None
After a general discussion by Commission members, motion was made by Mr.
Bricker, seconded by Mr. Lott, authorizing R. C. Hilton, vice-chairman, to
write a letter to the City Commission setting forth the following recommendations
for regulations and set-backs to be included in the ordinance rezoning the
.47 acres of Block 2, Cunningham Terrace Addition, and the south 60 ft, of Block
2, Cunningham Terrace Addition:
1. Set-back lines:
(a) 30 ft. on Weslayan and Stella Link
(b) No set-back on abutting property line
2. Minimum building floor space 1,300 sq. ft.
3. Place in Fire Zone
4. Professional or office building
5. Parking space to be in accordance with ordinance
number F397
6. Surface parking area shall be paved with all-weather
surface
7. Building height 40 ft. maximum
8. Signs same as (K) in Ordinance Number 902

motion duly. made, seconded, and carried, the meeting adjour
