REGULAR MEETING
ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION
SEPTEMBER I4, I976
The Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of West University Place
convened in regular session at the City Hall, 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 14,
1976, with the following members present: Chairman Bartholomew, presiding;
Members LaCook, Dahlin and Weatherby.
The Chairman ascertained from the secretary that proper notice of the meeting
~ had been posted on the bulletin. .board at the City Hall three (3) days prior to the
~ scheduled meeting.

~-j Mr. Wm. Perlmutter presented a site plan for the construction of townhouses on

for consideration.
Mr. Perlmutter had previously presented tentative plans for the construction of
townhouses at this site and had been advised that a 20 ft. rear setback and three (3)
parking spaces per unit was required by the ordinance and this was not provided for
on these plans. The revised plan fulfilled these requirements by eliminating one
townhouse making a total of four (4) and meeting all other requirements of the
ordinance regulating townhouses at this site.
Motion by Mr. Weatherby, seconded by Mr. Dahlin, that the site plan presented by
Mr. Wm. Perlmutter for the construction of townhouses on

be approved as presented.

Mr. Perlmutter was advised that before a permit could be issued he must present
layout and height of each dwelling unit, construction materials and .such other
information as required in Sub-Section P of Ordinance No. 1025 for approval by the
Commission.
A copy of a report and recommendations to the City Commission concerning
circular driveways and related items drafted at the Workshop Meeting, August 24,
1976 was presented for consideration.
Motion by Mr. Dahlin, seconded by Mr. LaCook, that the report and final
recommendations concerning circular driveways and related items be approved as
presented.
Voting Aye: All Voting No: None
Minutes of the regular meeting of the Zoning and Planning Commission on August
10, 1976 and Workshop Meeting on August 24, 1976 were approved as submited.
With no further business to come before the Commission, upon motion duly made,
seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
