REGULAR MEETING
ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION
AUGUST 16, 1979.
The Zoning and Planning Commission of .the City of West University Place con-
vened in regular session on Thursday, August 16, 1979, 7:30 p.m., with .the fol-
lowing members present:. Chairman Casey, presiding; Members Abell, Farrell and
Norton.
The Chairman ascertained from the secretary that notice of meeting had been
posted three days prior to the scheduled meeting.
Mr. Casey introduced himself and gave the address of his residence followed by
other members.
Mr. John. Starnes, owner, Charles Porter, developer, Jerry Daniels and Allen
Muntz, architects, appeared before the Commission with preliminary plans for
the construction of townhouses on
Lot 2, and All but North 75 ft. of Lot 3, Blk. 41

Mr. Starnes advised they proposed to construct nine masonry units, front loaders
with automatic door openers designed to sell for $180,000 to $225,000. He show-
ed preliminary floor plans and stated the roofs would be of Timberline composition
shingles.
Board members discussed with representatives provisions for garbage pickup,
radius of circle driveway and guest parking.
Motion by Mr. Farrell., seconded by Mr. Abell, that. inasmuch as the plans presented
meet the requirements of Ordinance k0. 1025, that preliminary plans for the con-
struction of townhouses on
Lot 2, and All but North 75 ft. of Lot 3, Blk. 41
West University Place 1st Addition

Minutes of the regular meeting of the Zoning and Planning Commission on July 12,
1979 were approved as submitted.
With no further business to come before the Commission, upon motion duly made,
seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
