The Zoning and Planning Commission did not hold s regular meeting for
the month of June, as there were no application for consideration. and
also a quorun was not available. __l

REGULAR MEETING OF ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION
JULY 1~+, 1966
The Zoning and Planning Commission of the City. of West University Place
convened in regular session at the City Hall on Thursday, July l~-, 1966
7:30 p.m., with the following members present: Chairman. Hannah, presid-
ing, Members Bricker, Hilton, Hines and Lott.
Application number 66-5 for subdivision of Lot 9, Block 32, West Univer-
sity Place First Addition, was presented to the Commission. It was
stated for the record that notice was published in the Houston Chronicle
on the date of` Jun3`29, 1966 and that notices were mailed. to all property
owners within 200 feet of the property on June 27, 19E6.
Motion by Mr. Bricker, seconded by Mr. Hines that the public hearing
called for the purpose of hearing interested parties in connection with
the proposed subdivision, be opened. All in favor.
Mr. Paul Canto, owner of Lot 9, Block 32, West University Place First
Addition, appeared before the Commission in behalf of his application.
He stated that he desired to have the lot subdivided into two lots,
each 50 X 150 feet and each to front on Westchester. He stated that he
planned to remove the existing building on the property, and to build
two new houses, if the lot were subdivided.
There were no further persons desiring to be heard in connection with the
subdivision. Motion by Mr. Hines, seconded by Mr. Hilton that the public
hearing be closed.
Voting Aye: All
Voting No: None
Motion by Mr. Bricker, seconded by Mr. Hines that Lot 9, Block 32, West
University Place First Addition be subdivided into two lots, each 50 X

150 feet, and each to front on Westchester, as requested by the
owner, Mr. Paul Canto, provided that proper easements are secured
and that all buildings constructed comply with the ordinances and
Code of the City of West University Place, Tess
