REGULAR .MEETING OF
ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION
OCTOBER 10, 1968
The Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of West University Place
convened in regular session at the City Hall on Thursday, October 10, 1968
at 7:30 p.m. with the following members present: Chairman David W. Hannah,
presiding; .Members L. B. Bricker, and H. E. Lott. E. Gene Hines and R. C.
Hilton were absent. Mr. Charles Cockrell, City Attorney, was also present.
Mr. Tom Wheat, owner of Block 2, Cunningham Terrace Addition, City of West
University Place, Texas, appeared before the Bored and presented photographs
~ of several buildings in the vicinity of the type he would be interested in
C~ erecting if his property was rezoned for commercial use. Mr. Hannah advised
~ Mr. Wheat the photographs would be ;studied, consideration given to his
~ application, and in the event any action was takne on same he would be notified.

U The members of the Commission and City Attorney Charles Cockrell held a long
discussion concerning several specific questions on applications now in front
of the Commission and general matters concerning overall zoning.
There being no further business to come before the Co fission at this time,
upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the mee ing adjot~ned.
