REGULAR MEETING
ZONING AND PLANNING COMMISSION
JULY 11, 1868
The Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of West University Place convened
at the City Hall on Thursday, July 11, 1868 at 7:30 p.m. with the following members
present: Chairman David Hannah, presiding; Members L. B, Bricker,.R. C., Hilton, and
E. Gene Hines. Mr. H. E. Lott was absent.
A plat of University Place Townhousey~ Section Two was presented from Mr. J. D.
Cobb with a request for approval of the Zoning. and Planning Commission.
University Place Townhoues, Section Two is a replat of the East ~-' of Lot 3, Lots
4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and the West 22.57' of Lot g, Block 2, Monticello Addition to the
A. C. Reynolds Survey, A-61 approved as a Townhouse District by Ordinance No. 879
passed by the City Commission on October 10, 1866.
Motion by Mr. Hines, seconded by Mr. Bricker, that the plat of University Elace
Townhouses, Section Two be approved.

Mr. Hannah ascertained that all members had received written notice that the City
Commission passed Ordinance no. 8g8 on May 8, 1868 calling for a joint Public Hearing
of the City Commission and the Zoning and Planning Commission on August 5, 1868 at 7:00
p.m. to consider amending Ordinance No. 111 to create a Professional or Business
Office Building District on Lot 2, Block 2, Lot 2, Block 35, Colonial Terrace Addition
and Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, g, and 10, Fairhaven Addition, and that this date
was acceptable to members of the Zoning and Planning Coission.
With no further business to come before the Zoning an Planning Commission at this
time, upon motion duly made, seconded and carried th meeting w s adjourned.
