MINUTES OF RECESSED MEETING
ZONIlVG AND PLANNIlVG COMMISSION
JUNE 27, 1868
The Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of-West University Place convened
in recessed session at the City Hall on Thursday, June 27, 1868, 7:30 p.m., with the
following members present: Chairman David W. Hannah, presiding; members L. B.
Bricker, R. C. 'Hilton, anal E. Gene Hines. Mr. Edgar Lott was absent.
Chairman Hannah stated that certain requirements and regulations needed to be dis-
cussed and recommendations made on same for the preparation of the Zoning and
Planning Commission's Final Report to the City Commission of the City of West University
Place concerning amending the Zoning Ordinance to allow for a Professional or
Business Office Building District of Lot 2, Block 1, Lot 2, Block 35, Colonial
Terrace, and Lots 1,2, 3, ~-, 5, 6, 7, 8, g, and 10, Fairhaven Addition.
The following items were discussed and decisions made on them and incorporated into
the Final Report, a copy of which is attached to these Minutes and made a part
hereof:
1. Mininum setback requirements for single-family dwellings built
in this area.
2. Requirements for conversion of existing single-family residences into
Professional or Business offices.
3. Mininum width of building site.
4. Mininum size of buildings.
5. Parking requirements.
6. .Screening device in parking ares.
7. Classification of buildings.
8. Definition of "Professional or Business Office ilding".
With no further business to come before the Commission/at
duly made, seconded `and carried, the meeting adjourne at
