Home My WebLink About06091983 ZPC Minutes (2) Q Q t REGULAR MEETING ZONING & PLANNING COMMISSION JUNE 9, 1983 The Zoning and Planning Commission of the City of West University Place convened in regular session, Thursday, June 9,.1983; 7:30 P.M., with the following members present: Chairman Kendrick, presiding Members Bettler, Norton, O'Leary and Taitte. Chairman Kendrick introduced himself and gave his address in the City followed by other members, ascertained from the secretary that Notice of Meeting had been posted in City Hall on June 3, 1983. Hearing of Residents: There were no matters or inquires to bring before the Commission. Chairman Kendrick withdrew himself from the discussion of Wroxton, turning the meeting over to Vice-Chairman, Mr. Bettler. 153 Commission members reviewed in detail Draft dated June 2, 1983, of recom- mendations concerning rezoning of certain property in the 2600 and 2700 blocks of Wroxton Road. Certain changes were made in daid Draft and Vice- Chairman Bettler instructed to rewrite it for submittal and review at the next regular meeting of the Zoning and Planning Commisson.on July 14 , 1983. Copies of a draft for Subdivision Ordinance reviewed in Zoning and Planning Commission meeting on June 2, 1983, were presented. This was included on the agenda with the anticipation that suggested changes for consideration by City Council would have been received with questions. and recommendations to the Commission, but the Council was unable to do so at this time. Street would be the next regular Zoning and Planning Commission meeting on July 14, 1983. All necessary requirements should be presented to the Commission or the applica- tion will automatically be rejected. The secretary was instructed to notify applicants of this expiration date. Minutes of the following meetings of the Zoning and Planning Commission were approved as corrected: - April 14, 1983 - April 19, 1983 - April 25, 1983 - May l2, 1983 - May 16,..1983 - June .2,1983 With no further business to come before the Commission , upon motion duly. made, seconded and carried, the meeting adjourned at 10:30 p.m. CHAIRMAN ATTEST: SECRETARY
